How to generate the API Key?
- Go to this link https://console.cloud.google.com/welcome
- In the top right corner click "Select a project" and then "NEW PROJECT"
- Enable Tiles Api https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/tile.googleapis.com
- Enable Geocoding Api https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/library/geocoding-backend.googleapis.com
- Go to this link https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials
- Click "CREATE CREDENTIALS" and then "API Key"
- Copy your api key and enjoy the game :)
Only share your api key with people you trust!

For me, whenever I type in any address, the game points me to a place off the western coast of central Africa. After that, I am spawned in an ocean with no buildings, zombies, anything. I can shoot, reload, "walk". The helicopter does not work. I have both APIs enabled and a fresh new API key.
same with me but I figured it out! You must get the free trial or a subscription for google cloud (the website on the links) and then it should work.
